Do you want to embrace your witchy side to benefit cancer research? Then join the Franklin Witches Ride on October 26th!
Moms, it’s your turn to get dressed up for a good cause! Grab your best witch attire, decorate your “broomcyle”, fill your basket with candy and join in the Franklin Witches Ride on October 26th. The Franklin Witches Ride will take place on Thursday, October 26th at 5:45 p.m in the Westhaven neighborhood. Dads and kids are invited to come out and line up along the route to catch candy from the witches.
The Franklin Witches Ride is a fundraiser that benefits the American Cancer Society. The Witches Ride was founded in 2012 by Janie Ford Mayer of Homewood, AL to honor her mother, Paula Stringfellow Ford. Over 400 witches turn out each year to fly! We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and we fly in their honor. Donations help with funding and conducting research, supporting patients and their families, and spreading the word about cancer prevention.
All proceeds and donations benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be a $20 early bird individual registration fee and $25 day-of individual registration fee. For teams of 10 witches, each individual will ride at a discounted rate.

*All witches must provide their own candy for tossing, a safe way to carry candy (i.e.-bicycle basket), and personal bicycle.*
