Nashville Weekend Happenings: Dec. 8-10

 

Jingle Jam

  • When: Friday, Dec. 8th from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Rolling Hills Community Church
  • What: Free treats, Christmas music, skits and more! Childcare provided for children under 3

A Charlie Brown Christmas

  • When: Friday, Dec. 8th at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Tennessee Performing Arts Center
  • What: See Charlie Brown’s Christmas come to life on stage! This animated classic has been charming viewers on tv for over 50 years! Join Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy and the gang for a family fun night!

24th Annual Christmas Toy Train Show

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9th from 9 a.m.-4 p.m
  • Where: The Nashville Fairgrounds
  • What: A Model train show in operation with over 220 vendor tables

Winter Wonder Weekend

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Where: Adventure Science Center
  • What: Come try some holiday-themed science with hands-on activities at Adventure Science

Dickens of a Christmas

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9th (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) and Sunday, Dec. 10th (11 a.m.-4 p.m.)
  • Where: Historic Franklin Square
  • What: Take a step back in time to a Charles Dickens experience with 200 musicians, dancers and characters including Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and more! This year’s festival will also include an ice skating rink from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Historic Home Yuletide Tours 

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Where: The Nashville Zoo
  • What: Visit the Grassmere home decorated for a Victorian holiday and learn about Christmas traditions from years past

Music City Winterfest

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Where: Centennial Park
  • What: Bring your gift list and shop from local artisans, enjoy music, food, s’mores stations and a pop up dog park!

Fa-La-Laloha: Tiki Christmas Bash and Adoption Fundraiser

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 17th from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
  • Where: Ed Nash Art, 1015 West Kirkland Avenue #414 Nashville
  • What: Come support a local family in their adoption journey with a festive night out! The event will include original tiki cocktails designed by J. Jackson, caroling, a silent auction and more! The first 50 guests will receive a free t-shirt with purchase!
