Ford Ice Center

The Ford Ice Center is a place for all things hockey and ice! If you or your child are interested in learning to ice skate, play hockey or watch some local teams compete, this is the place for you. Here are some of the amazing programs offered at the Ford Ice Center.

  • Public Skate: The Ice Center offers several times per week for public skate. Children 2 and under are free. Ages 3-10 are $6.50, Adults are $7.50 and skate rental is $3. My family tried out the public skate and even though I’m not very talented on the ice, we had so much fun! The rink has stacks of buckets to use to help the little skaters (and the moms like me!) Public Skate would make for a unique date night, group activity or family fun day. Take a peek at the schedule here to find a time to try it out!
  • The Scott Hamilton Skating Academy Learn to Skate classes are recognized as the best in the industry. Classes are available for Tots (ages 3-5), Beginning Learn to Skate/Hockey; Fundamentals, Freeskate (ages 6-15), as well as a class for Adults (Beginner to Advanced ages 16 and up), There are  also Figure Skating classes and coaches for those future Olympians! Call the Center today for more information.
  • Youth Hockey League: Ford Ice Center is home to the Nashville Predators Amateur Hockey Association and is for children ages 5-18 and all skill levels. Sessions are available all throughout the year.
