Yep, it’s true…there’s been a breakup! MaraNatha, one of the largest producers of high-quality, natural and organic nut butters in the U.S. has decided that it’s “Too Good for Jelly”. MaraNatha offers wholesome nut butters made with the purest ingredients, no trans fats, hydrogenated oils or preservatives. The almonds, sourced from California, are roasted in small batches with such delicious flavors you don’t need to add anything else! I feel good about feeding my family MaraNatha products and my kids actually agree! MaraNatha sent us a variety of their butters to try for a taste test! You will want to put these in your cart AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because they’re life changers! Find a store that carries these here!
Mornings are always tough around our house! So, I try to have quick breakfast options! I am in love with MaraNatha’s Raw Maple Almond Butter! I could truthfully just eat it by the spoonful! It is such a treat on a warm, toasted whole wheat bagel! The flavor is amazing! Would also be a perfect topping on pancakes!
I am always trying to be creative with after school snacks. I’m not sure about your kiddos but mine come home HANGRY, probably something about the 10:50 a.m. lunch time! I try to have a healthy snack waiting on them when they get home to avoid sugar raids. One of our favorite snacks are “Apple Cookies”. Basically, I slice the apples, cover with MaraNatha No Stir Almond Butter and sprinkle with a few toppings like coconut, walnuts or dark chocolate chips.
And when we’re craving something sweet, we make peanut butter cookies! We used MaraNatha’s first flavored peanut butter, Banana Peanut Butter and my oh my, we are so obsessed that we now eat them for breakfast!! I mean I feel good about that because the butter includes real bananas and the highest quality peanuts. These cookies will be on repeat and luckily, they are super easy to whip up!
A few other ideas for incorporating MaraNatha’s nut butters are Chocolate Raw Almond butter smoothies, adding to pretzels with chocolate chips for “Ants on a Log”, A Banana Peanut Butter sandwich or simply on a piece of whole wheat toast.
On Friday, October 27th from 5-9 p.m., I’ll be at Boo at the Zoo with MaraNatha passing out some samples and offering my condolences to Jelly. Stop by and say hi for sure!
