A while ago I had everyone vote for their favorite park and the winner was…
Granny White Park!
I can’t lie. I had never been there before. I know most of us just hit up the park that’s closest to our house and this one is a bit of a drive for us. It was a nice change of scenery though.
There were two playgrounds, tons of swings, extra toys for the kids to explore, fields, basketball courts and (my favorite) lots of shady spots for mom to sit.
The two different playgrounds were great. One seemed a little more appropriate for younger kids and the other for older kids.
The dinosaurs were a big hit. I don’t understand why they are so much fun, but apparently they are.
The only issue I ran in to was that it was a little difficult to keep up with the kids. The park was super busy (it usually is) and I looked down for a second to deal with the baby and couldn’t find my son for a minute.
I was happy to find that they had bathrooms near the ball fields.
Overall, we really enjoyed this park. I’m sure we will be visiting more often! :)
Granny White Park is located in Brentwood off of Granny White Pike. (610 Granny White Pike)
