Nashville Weekend Happenings: November 3-5

 

Family Day

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 4th 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Where: Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin
  • What: *FREE* Full day of fun for the whole family! Petting zoo, inflatables, crafts, games, face painting, hay rides, food, mini train rides and pony rides!

Crafty Nashville

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 4th 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Where: Track One (1211 4th Avenue South, Nashville)
  • What: The Craft Show will be supporting Little Free Library by accepting new or lightly used children’s books. The event will host over 100 artisans and crafters as well as live music, food trucks, balloon animals, arts, crafts, and more!

Magpies Franklin Grand Opening

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 4th 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Where: 504 West Main Street, Franklin
  • What: Join Magpies as they celebrate their new location in Franklin with treats and a free gift with purchase

Celebrate Reading at The Nashville Zoo

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 4th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Where: The Nashville Zoo
  • What: Guests will have a chance to hear great stories while experiencing the Zoo’s animal habitats. The Zoo will offer complimentary attraction tickets (limit of four tickets per person) for anyone donating new or “like new” children’s books during the Celebrate Reading dates. Attraction tickets can be used to ride the carousel, zip line and train, or feed the lorikeets and tortoises. All books will be donated to Book’ em

Pumpkin Destruction Festival

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 4th at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Honeysuckle Hill Farm (1765 Chapel Church Rd. Springfield, TN)
  • What: The farm’s remaining pumpkins will be destroyed by shooting them from cannons, dropping them from 60 feet in the air and blowing them up! $14.95 for ages 3+
