The Sleeping Beauty

The Nashville Ballet opened the season with one of the most beloved ballets of all time, The Sleeping Beauty. The Sleeping Beauty featured some of the most challenging, classical choreography and the score was performed live by the Nashville Symphony. The night was full of beauty and art. The costume and set were magically designed and were new to Nashville, originating from Salt Lake City, Utah. 29 tutus featured in the performance were handmade and required around 80 hours to create! The Sleeping Beauty also included other fairytale characters Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, and Puss in Boots.

The Nashville Ballet, the largest professional ballet company in Tennessee, creates an ultimate experience for Nashville families and visitors. The Nashville Ballet’s upcoming shows include Lizzie Borden and The Raven, The 10th year of Nashville’s Nutcracker, Attitude Light: The Holocaust & Humanity Project, Family Day at The Ballet, Modern Masters Kylian, Wheeldon & Balanchine, and Emergence In Creative Collaboration with The BlueBird Cafe.Tickets for the 2017-2018 season are on sale now and can be purchased here.
