We all know that Google Fiber is headed our way, so when XFINITY contacted me to highlight some of their services, I was excited to see what they had to offer. They have some features that are unique to XFINITY and can make this momma’s life a bit easier than other providers.
With the cooler weather heading our way, that means much more indoor time is in our future. And, in turn, more family nights snuggled on the couch together. One of the first things I noticed about XFINITY’s features versus Google Fiber is their On Demand library. XFINITY offers over 150,000 free choices in their On Demand library. For reference, Google Fiber will only have about 17,000.
With the latest episodes of the top 100 shows preloaded and ready to watch, we can always catch a great show right when we’re ready. I love that I can catch some of my favorite shows at any time. We all know how difficult it can be to make sure we’re sitting in front of the tv at a specific time when our favorite show is on. With On Demand, I can catch the latests episodes of NCIS during nap time or after bedtime. It is so convenient to be able to pause and come back to it whenever I need to as well.
And we all know that sometimes mom needs a few minutes to get some work or chores done around the house. Being able to pull up the kids’ favorite shows like Octonauts or Little Einsteins at the click of a button makes us all happy at those times.
XFINITY’s amazing On Demand library isn’t just available in your home. You can download the XFINITY TV App on your device and have access to over 21,000 TV shows and movies. This is especially great for keeping up with our “must see” shows like Elementary when we are traveling. It’s also an easy way to entertain the kids with all that holiday travel coming up soon. Download your favorite shows and movies and you’ll have them ready to go on the plane or in the car.
So, light the fire, grab your favorite drink, and tune into your favorite show On Demand.

What about the gigabit Internet? Some consumers might only care about having Internet. Xfinity price tag for 2 gigabit Internet is $299 which I think is for corporate businesses and not everyday consumers
