By now, you’ve probably seen something (we hope!) about our Birthday Bash coming up on April 16. We wanted to answer some questions about the event and make sure everyone knows about all the fun that we’ll be having!
-What is the Birthday Bash?
We started the Birthday Bash last year as a celebration for one year of The Nashville Mom. We wouldn’t be here without the amazing families in Nashville supporting us, so we decided to throw YOU a party. This year, we’ve amped up our game and made it a bigger festival. -When and where is the Bash?
The Birthday Bash is April 16 at Sevier Park from 10-2. You can come of the whole time or just drop by. We tried to schedule it so that everyone can still get their naps in. ;)
-What is the cost?
FREE! The Birthday Bash is totally free. You can seriously come and not spend a single penny if you don’t want to. Instead of charging you for all the fun, we’re raising items for the Movers for Moms drive for Safe Haven Family Shelter. Please bring items from their list (toiletries, baby items, linens, paper goods). You can read a lot more about their needs and the Movers for Moms drive here.
-So, wait. It’s free?
Yep! Free activities include:
- DIY screen printing swag bags with Hip Hues (while supplies last)

- photobooth with Dottie Beasley Photography
- balloon twister
- bounce house
- Christie Cookies (while supplies last)
- treats from our sponsor tents
- raffle prizes
-What else will be onsite? Is there any lunch provided?
We will have two food trucks onsite for you to purchase lunch from during the event- Brothers Burgers and Yayo’s OMG. There will also be several vendors set up with amazing local goods for you to purchase. Hip Hues will also have our Nashville Family tees (Mom, Kid, & Dad) in an exclusive color for you to purchase and screen print yourself during the event.
-What if I forget to bring a donation for Safe Haven?
No worries! All are welcome even without a donation. If you forget to bring items, there are several other drop off locations you can take your items to. It all goes to the same place.
-Who is invited to the Bash? Do we need to RSVP?
EVERYONE! The Birthday Bash was created to celebrate our community. All are invited to join in the fun. No RSVP is neccessary, however you can join the Facebook event to stay up to date with news on the event.
-How are you able to provide such an amazing event without charging the community?
We are SO thankful to our AWESOME sponsors this year! Without them, the Birthday Bash wouldn’t be possible. We love their heart for our community and bringing us all together.
