Things are just better when you can package them up in a box (or jar, or tin) and give them as a gift. It’s fun to receive and it’s fun to put together. How many things can you stuff in your box? What theme can you come up with?
Me? I really love the movie Elf. I’ve already quoted about half of it and it isn’t technically December yet. I mean, who doesn’t yell, “Santa! I know him!” every time you see a Santa Claus? You’re probably thinking, “Hey Lindsey, you were just talking about boxes and now you’re talking about Elf. What do those have to do with each other?”
Well, I put Christmas Cheer inspired by Buddy the Elf in my box. Duh. It’s probably one of the most fun boxes I’ve ever put together.
Supplies needed:
-Box (or jar, tin, etc)
-Syrup (Buddy’s favorite food group)
-Pancake mix (because human’s need something appropriate for the syrup)
-Candy (one of Buddy’s food groups)
-Powdered Sugar (for making snow angels)
-Marshmallows (I know Buddy was eating cotton balls, but I think the giftee would rather have marshmallows to snack on)
-Cookie dough (to eat with your long-lost dad)
-iTunes gift card (the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear)
See! Pretty much the easiest and most fun DIY you’ll create all season. :)
Enjoy! And make sure to snuggle while you watch the movie. That’s what Buddy would do.
