My girlfriend, Sarah and I headed to Dunwoody, Georgia for a “Momcation”. Less than 4 hours from Nashville, this was the perfect quick trip! Dunwoody was a relaxing destination with great food, fun shops and interesting places to visit.
Dunwoody has a theme of “Everything Will Be Ok“. We spotted several signs around town with this encouraging message.
We grabbed the most delicious sandwiches at E. 48th Street Market and soaked up the sunshine at Dunwoody Nature Center! Other than almost stepping on a snake, we loved spending time checking out the walking trails, creek and being outside!
The kids would love exploring the creeks and playing in the treehouse!
After our picnic, Sarah and I were excited to stop by some of the cutest shops! We loved browsing Under the Pecan Tree and The Enchanted Forest.
The sweet ladies at The Enchanted Forest recommended that we try a local edible cookie dough, Batter!
And they didn’t lead up astray! It was amazing and such a sweet treat!
Vino Venue was our next stop for dinner where we had dinner in a bubble!
Their truffle popcorn was amazing and a not to miss menu item!
After a full day of exploring Dunwoody, we put our pjs and under eye masks on and cozied in for a Netflix marathon at Le Meridien Perimeter!
On our second day, we stopped by Alon’s Market for breakfast before stopping by the Donaldson-Bannister Farm! I love the historic preservation around Dunwoody.
Of course, Sarah and I are both book enthusiasts, so we were thrilled to find this Free Little Library at The Farm!
We ended our trip with relaxing facials at Woodhouse Day Spa
It was such a peaceful atmosphere and we both enjoyed being pampered before heading back to Nashville and busy family nights!
It is always so nice to make time to connect with your friends, explore and make new memories!
Dunwoody is a fun spot to stay if you also want to head into Atlanta. Read about our last visit to Atlanta here.
