Young ballerina Marie van Goethen dreamed of becoming a world famous dancer. She gave up her dreams to support her family as an artist’s model, yet still became one of the most famous dancers in the world as the subject of Edgar Degas’ bronze statue La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans. Narration and interactive elements make this ballet, based on the book of the same name by Laurence Anholt, perfect for all ages.
