The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) invites families with young children to an afternoon of storytelling, illusion, and wonder in the warmhearted Egg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in Andrew Johnson Theater.
Presented by TPAC Education and produced by Cahoots NI, a professional theatre from Belfast, Ireland, the play features three madcap birds on the adventure of a lifetime as they grapple with growing up and giving in to their natural instincts to take flight. This funny, delightful, and sometimes bittersweet tale resonates as strongly with adults in the audience as it does with children.
Admission to the 40-minute performance, recommended for ages four and up, is $8 for children 10 and under and $12 for adults. A limited number of “Pay-What-You-Can” tickets, based on an honor system of what audience members feel they can afford to pay, are available at the TPAC Box Office for up to four tickets per family.
