Celebrate the Jewish New Year of Trees at Cheekwood’s inaugural Tu B’Shevat Celebration and Family Day. This event will feature Lisa Silver, celebrated musician, songwriter, and Music Director at Congregation Micah, who has recently released albums such as MOSAIC and Kabbalat K’tan Shabbat. Families are invited to enjoy a variety of fun, educational drop-in activities focusing on the joy trees bring to the world. They can take part in ‘tree’mendous art, sample fine fruit filled snacks, embark on a guided tree tour, and transplant a seedling to take home. Additionally, there will be live music in the Museum of Art, providing the perfect backdrop for touring Cheekwood’s current exhibition Trees of Myth and Legend.

Tu B’Shevat Family Day presented in partnership with The Jewish Federation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and with support by The Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast and Molly and Richard Schneider.
