Stop by the studios anytime between 10 am – 12 pm to participate!
Art adventures abound as toddlers take over Cheekwood every Tuesday morning! Stop by our studio in the Learning Center to craft an original artwork with your tot. Drop-in activities change weekly so that your budding young artist will be introduced to the wide world of art. Tuesdays for Tots is sure to be a memory-making routine for you and your toddler, so make plans to attend a class today!
Don’t forget to bring your imagination and dress for mess!
January 20 Mini Masters: ‘Starry Night’
Draw inspiration from a Mini Masters’ favorite, Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night! Enjoy painting and more with this dreamy project.
January 27 Look in a Book: Dr. Seuss
So much inspiration can be found in our favorite book! Enjoy reading Dr. Seuss books on your own on the 2nd floor and create a ‘Seussical’ art project in the studios!
February 3 TREEmendous Celebration
In honor of Tu B’Shevat and Cheekwood’s Family Day on Sunday, February 22nd, we will create our own tree-inspired craft to celebrate the Jewish New Year of Trees!
February 10 Sweet Treats & Hearts
Wayne Thiebaud is an artist who creates sweet treats on his paper or canvas! In honor of Valentine’s Day, join us to create our own sweet art projects with printmaking!
