Friendsgiving has come and gone this year. I hope everyone that came enjoyed themselves as much as I did. The night was full of fun, laughter, friendship, and some amazing food! If you missed out, no worries! For now, you can read this post and live vicariously through it. :) Later, you can come to our next event and join in the fun in person.
If you’re thinking ” what in the world is Friendsgiving?!”, then definitely stop by this post first…
We started the evening with a wonderful wine tasting from Moon Wine & Spirits. Located in Brentwood, you’ll definitely want to stop by and check out their amazing selection! They also carry a ton of Yeti products and other fun goodies if you’re needing to cross a few people off of the Christmas list.
After some mixing and mingling it was time to eat. Homestead Manor served up a delicious meal for us. The menu was a twist on a Thanksgiving meal with turkey, veggies, salad, cannelloni, and some amazing desserts. I don’t think anyone left hungry.
It was so fun to look around and see so many enjoying a meal together. Some ladies came with friends, some came solo, no one left without a new friend- I’m sure of it! It’s amazing when you can bring 25 people from different backgrounds and walks of life together in a room and watch people genuinely enjoying each other’s company. We’re all in this thing called life together and it shows!
After dinner several of the girls were able to take a tour of the house. Homestead Manor holds so much history. It’s truly a treat to be able to mix a delicious meal with amazing stories of the past. If you’ve talked to me, you know that Homestead Manor is one of my current obsessions. I love the way it feels so out of place right outside the borders of a busy city. I love that they kept this history intact within the house. I love that the food is just so good! If you haven’t made your way out there yet, do it! It’s very much worth the drive.
Maybe everyone’s favorite part of the night- goody bags! We had some amazing brands represented in our bags. Make sure to check out our Instagram post to get the details!
We want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our other amazing sponsors for the evening.
