NFL preseason is under way and all of Tennessee is ready to TITAN UP!
Our family loves football, tailgating and the strong traditions around this sport! I chatted with my friends over at Today in Nashville about family friendly ways to enjoy NFL Season!
Get the details on my tailgate set up!
Snacks: Of course, every tailgate needs a variety of kid-friendly snacks and sweets! It’s best to have bite sized and easy snacks for everyone to grab as they watch the game! Some of our favorites are homemade caramel popcorn, football shaped pretzels, peanuts, pizza dippers and corn dip with chips! And every party is a little sweeter with a cake! Cake just makes every event feel like a celebration! You can pick up an NFL themed cake at your local bakery.
Crafts and Kid-Friendly Activities: It’s always good to have some kid center activities in case they are not quite as into the game. Grab some mason jars, paint brushes and paint and have them create football cups! This gives the kids something to do and adds to your party decor! Another fun idea to get everyone in the game is Football Bingo! Pick up some chocolate candies to use as markers and have a few prizes! A few other festive ideas would be a touch down inspired photo booth! Create an area in your home where guests can grab a prop and take a few selfies.
Table Decorations: I passed by Hester and Cook one afternoon and saw their amazing football table scape and knew I had to bring some of their pretty papers home for the season. This touchdown table runner is perfect paired with these football paper placemats and brown craft paper. It’s simple and after the game, you can simply toss. These come in a roll or you can stop by one of their Nashville locations to have your exact measurement cut.
Attire: And of course, everyone needs something to show their team spirit! We love these kid’s football and cheerleader tees.
Project 615 has a great Titans themed collection. Draper James also has a cute Touchdowns and Tailgates tee that I can’t to wear for games!
Are you ready for some football?!
