Located in the heart of Green Hills, Gymboree Play & Music offers fun and learning for kids from 6 months to age 5.
Gymboree offers different classes designed to help your child learn, build confidence, and increase creativity. We tried out a baby Music class, School Skills, and an Open Gym time.
Music class helps develop your child’s love for music while teaching them rhythm and melody. There are different themes each week. Most recently, The Beatles! We had such a good time singing and playing with the different instruments.
My three year old tried out the School Skills class. School Skills is for ages 3-5 and is a drop off class. It helps to teach your child the skills they need for when they start school- social, behavioral, and intellectual. When I came to pick up my son, he was having so much fun, I could hardly get him to leave. This is definitely a good option if you don’t want to put your child in a full-time preschool.
We also tried out an Open Gym time. These are free with your membership and are just time in the afternoon when you can drop in and let the kids explore. One thing that is difficult for me, as a mom of 2, is finding activities that both kids are enjoying. Open Gym was great because both of my kids were exploring and having fun.
There are other classes we didn’t get a chance to try out, like: Art, Sports, and Play & Learn. You can read more about those on their website.
My most favorite part of Gymboree Play & Music was the staff. Every single person in there is so great. They are excited to see you and your child. They want to help them learn and grow. They are prepared and patient when they are teaching. The experience was excellent!
