We all know that no matter the neighborhood in Nashville, you will find great (read: locally-owned, aesthetically pleasing, in-house-roasted) coffee. In fact, you may hit several good coffee shops with just a single stone’s throw. The coffee is one of the reasons Nashville Moms are so happy, amiright?! ;)
Take a little jaunt south to Franklin, however, and we’ve been a little caffeine deprived until recently. Just a few months ago, Honest Coffee Roasters moved into The Factory and us Franklin Moms have had a little pep in our step ever since. The folks at Honest Coffee have a rich history in Franklin and pride themselves on serving a great cup of coffee, honest to goodness.
Beyond the coffee, their beans are roasted on-site and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. From the branding to the merchandising, Honest feels current and well-planned. Of particular mention are the friendly baristas. As someone who really enjoys a good cup of coffee, but admittedly knows little about the art of coffee, I appreciate questions answered with kindness and that’s what you get at Honest. All of these attributes make the great coffee taste even better!
(And, come on, what mom doesn’t love a good assortment of health conscious sweeteners?)
As far as bringing the little ones along with you, I think it’s safe to say that any coffee shop is more of a sanctuary for mom, rather than a play date hotspot. I, personally, loved meeting early one morning with my small group for intentional conversation and coffee.
That being said, there’s plenty of room to roam through The Factory with your energetic sidekicks as you enjoy your cafe du jour should the need arise.
Honest Coffee Roasters is open Monday-Satuday, from 7am-7pm. So, whether you’re a Franklin Mom or a Nashville Mom looking to get a taste of history with your taste of coffee, give them a visit. I’m certain you’ll love it!
