Sometimes work coincides with play! When Jenny Reimold announced she was hosting Brand Builders Retreat at Isla Bella Resort in Marathon Key, I jumped at the opportunity to treat myself to a belated 40th birthday getaway. My friend, Summer and I decided to travel together and be roommates. We flew into Miami, met up with another retreat attendee and drove a few hours to the resort.
As soon as we arrived, we felt like we were in paradise! The resort has one mile of waterfront property, a small sandy beach area and 5 oceanfront pools.
The rooms were beautifully decorated with ample space and comfortable beds! I could’ve sat on our waterfront balcony the whole time and been happy.
Summer and I didn’t leave the resort the entire time! We dined at the beach bar and poolside. The resort also has a traditional Italian restaurant right on the water. There’s also a Marketplace cafe with grab and go options! This was our go-to spot for morning coffee.
I couldn’t get over the architecture of the resort!
The sunsets were amazing!
Especially sharing them with friends! It was so fun having several Nashville friends at the retreat and meeting new ones too!
While we didn’t have time to check out, Isla Bella has a 4,000 square foot spa with a variety of services.
You’ll find outdoor games like a bocce ball court and giant chess boards near the beach bar. There’s also 24 acres of landscaped tropical native gardens.
The marina has water sports including fishing charters, jet skis tours, harbor cruises, as well as kayak, snorkeling and scuba diving trips.
Bikes are also available. You can also get your vacation workouts in at the fitness center.
How fun is this Moke?
Everywhere I looked was a stunning view!
On our last night, we decided to go jet skiing with the group! It was an adventure to say the least! Let’s just say that I may need to practice driving a jet ski before taking to the open sea again! Luckily, Summer was a much better driver and got us safely around on the tour!
The crystal clear water was absolutely gorgeous!
The sunset was the highlight of the week and made my rocky jet ski driving worth it!
Brand Builders was such a great opportunity to learn from experts in marketing and social media, as well as spend time with friends and meet new ones! I’m thankful to have had this opportunity!
