January is the perfect time to cozy up with a good book (or a few)! This month, I read some books by some of my very favorite people! Check out the books I read below and let me know any titles that I should read next!

I selected American Dirt as the Book Pick of the Month! This book kept me on the edge of my seat, made me really think and I sympathized with the main character! This is a book that everyone needs to read, it has stuck with me!

My dear friend, Sissy Goff is the expert on helping young ladies develop character and face difficult situations like anxiety. Brave is geared towards teen girls. I know we can all use as many resources and strong support as we can get in mothering.

I am blessed to call Elisabeth Hasselbeck a friend! She is a constant inspiration and her new children’s book, Flashlight Night will help guide you and your children to share their prayers, worries and fears! This is such a sweet book and a treasure!

I’ve been following Annie F. Down’s blogs, books and have seen her speak for many years! She is just hands down one of my favorite people! I always describe her as the girl that everyone wants to be best friends with! I read her latest book, That Sounds Fun in 24 hours! This book is relatable to finding “fun” in difficult times. It’s not only “fun” but will have you diving deep. Stay tuned for my interview with Annie in Franklin Lifestyle Magazine in March. We’re also trying to put together a fun event!!

Alright, alright, alright...(Anyone know what line that’s from?) On a recent road trip, Seth and I listened to Matthew McConaughey’s biography, GreenLights. We enjoyed hearing Matthew tell all about his interesting life, family dynamics and behind the scenes of this mega movie star! I mean, how could Matthew McConaughey reading you a story be bad?:) Even Seth liked it!

Nashville news anchor and mom, Nikki Burdine shares life lesson’s from her dog, Grunt in this sweet story! I think we can all learn from our furry friends!
Leave me a comment with your latest reads and anything I should add to my list!
