2020 has been an incredibly difficult year in Nashville and around the world from the devastating tornadoes to the current Covid-19 crisis. While we all are facing isolation, loss of jobs, school closures and so much fear and uncertainty, I hope that we can all see all the good that is happening too. I am so thankful for all those who are so tirelessly serving our community in the medical field and other essential areas like providing food and care. Today, I’m launching the Music City Kids Matter Campaign to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Second Harvest has been working with Metro Nashville Public Schools to ensure that students and their families would have the food they need through the extended school closures. I have volunteered with Second Harvest for the past few years and appreciate the hard work and dedication their volunteers and staff dedicate to feeding individuals and families across Tennessee.

I partnered with artist, Maizie Clarke to design a Nashville Favorites Tote. 20% of all proceeds will be given directly to Second Harvest to help continue feeding those who need assistance. Pre-order your bag today to be a part of helping our community.{Use code: LOCAL for Free Shipping if you’d like to pick up}

Throughout this campaign, I’ll also be featuring Q + A Interviews with some of Nashville’s favorite moms. Stay tuned to the website for my chat with Kelly Sutton.

It is my hope that we will all be stronger together after this, always willing to lend a hand however we can. I look forward to setting up family volunteer nights at Second Harvest again once this social distancing season is over, so please stay tuned for those announcements as well.
