Middle Tennessee loves festival season! Mark your calendar to attend some of these local festivities filled with pumpkins, food and fall fun!
12th South Farmer’s Market Apple Festival
- When: Tuesday, September 20th from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
- Where: Sevier Park, Nashville
- What: Live music, story time, food trucks and lots of apples!
- When: September 22-24
- Where: Centennial Park Lawn
- What: Hundreds of Tennessee Craft artists will showcase their handmade treasures on the lawn of Centennial Park, *FREE*
Honeysuckle Hill Farm Fall Festival
- When: Begins September 23
- Where: Honeysuckle Hill Farm in Cooperstown, TN
- What: Country Music Corn Maze, Pumpkin Train, pumpkin patch, kettle corn, caramel apples, zipline adventure park and much more!
- When: September 23- October 29
- Where: Cheekwood Botanical Gardens
- What: Celebrate all things fall with more than 5,000 autumn colored chrysanthemums, creative scarecrow garden and the Pumpkin House and Patch. There are also “art”tivities on Saturdays as well as story time and the beer garden is open with live bluegrass music (11 a.m.- 4 p.m.)

- Where: Streets of Indian Lake, Hendersonville
- What: Food samples, People’s Choice Awards, live music, Kid’s Zone Tickets available $35 VIP, $15 Adults, Seniors $10 and $5 Child *Bring three canned food items per child to receive free admission to the Kid’s Zone

- Where: The Hermitage
- What: A community event that displays local artists including specialty foods, spirits, photography, basketry, ceramics, painting, jewelry, leather and woodwork. There will also be live music, a puppet truck, musical petting zoo, face painting and more! *FREE*

- Where: Historic Germantown
What: Nashville’s annual Oktoberfest features traditional German food and music. The celebration includes a parade, a 5K Bier Run, Tennessee arts and crafts, a beer slide and a Kids Zone. *FREE Admission* However, VIP Tickets are available to access the VIP Tent

- What: Bring your family to walk the streets with over 200 booths! *FREE*

- Where: Centennial Park
- What: A FREE event celebrating the rich cultures of Nashville. A world market area will be filled with booths selling unique hand-crafted and imported items from around the world. You will have your choice of falafels, hot chicken to injer (Ethiopian bread), gyros, and Mexican popsicles all in one place! Children will have the opportunity to dress up in costumes, painting, games, and demonstrations of bocce, cricket, and soccer. The Children’s Area Stage will have interactive music and dance programs.

- What: National Best Banana Pudding Cook-Off, entertainment on two stages, Little Nanner’s Children’s Area, Banana Land, and a variety of food and craft booths.

- What: The festival welcomes more than 200 authors from around the nation. Musicians, storytellers, artists and your favorite book characters will be in attendance. *FREE*
THE GLOW: A Jack O’Lantern Experience
- When: October 13-30
- Where: The Fontanel
- What: Over 5,000 hand carved pumpkins will be on display on a 1/3 mile trail. Visit a 16 foot tall dinosaur in Prehistoric Park, a ghostly pirate ship, Music City musicians illuminated in pumpkins, food, drinks, and more!!

- Where: Historic Downtown Franklin
- What: Middle Tennessee’s largest family fall festival will return for the 34th year. Craft and food vendors will line the streets as well as live music. The Church of the City Kid’s Zone will host a full block of free children’s activities. Costume contests will take place, pumpkin carving demonstrations, and The Great Pumpkin will be at Public Square.
Sylvan Park Mom’s Fall Festival
- When: Sunday, Oct. 29th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
- Where: McCabe Community Center-101 46th Avenue N
- What: Come join me at the Sylvan Park Mom’s Fall Festival! Food trucks, inflatables, face painting, arts and crafts, photo booth, games, yoga for kids and more!
- When: Saturday, November 4th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Where: Track One, 1211 4th Avenue South, Nashville
- What: Over 80 local artisans and crafters will have their goods for sale. Free kid’s activities, live music, food trucks. Crafty Nashville will also be hosting a book drive to benefit Little Free Library!
