
2020 may have gotten us down but guess what, we are still going to enjoy our favorite Nashville fall traditions as much as we can! Covid can’t take away our pumpkin picking!

- Celebrate all things fall with more than 5,000 autumn colored chrysanthemums, creative scarecrow garden as well as the Pumpkin House and Patch. There will also be a Halloween Pooch Parade, Beer Garden and specialty workshops throughout the season.

- Safe fall fun is closer than you think! Opryland’s family-friendly Halloween activities and all-ages seasonal entertainment offer fall fun with peace of mind. Events have been purposely redesigned to respect social distancing and an enhanced Commitment to Clean program with activities including a jack-o-lantern walk, trick-or-treating, scavenger hunts, animal encounters and more! - Historic Granville’s Fall Festival kicks off a full month of decorations and scarecrows that are simply “over the top.” One of Tennessee’s Largest Scarecrow Festival, visitors will enjoy see over 300 scarecrows of Mayberry characters and traditional scarecrows. Jazz on the Cumberland at Veteran’s Park will host musical presentations all afternoon. The Granville Quilt Show will be held at the Granville Methodist Church all during the month of October. The Granville Ghost Walk will be on October 23rd and 24th with myths and stories about Granville.

- Live music, food trucks, farmer’s market, farm animals, hay rides, pumpkin painting, sunflower picking. A $25 donation is suggested to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.
- Weekends of October 15-18, October 20-25, October 27-30th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. {Tickets go on sale for members on September 14th and to the public on September 16th around 10 a.m.}
- Nashville Zoo
- Pumpkin Town photo opps, Gourdon the Talking Pumpkin, Haymaze, Monster Mash dance area, Scary-Go-Round carousel, animal shows, 10 trick-or-treat stations for kids, glow-in-the-dark souvenir cup for kids, and plenty of magical scenes lit along the treat trail! The event has been adjusted to provide families with a socially distanced, walk through experience, featuring many of your favorite activities plus a few new ones! Walk-through experience, 50% nightly capacity and staggered entry times. Mask requirements set forth by the city at the time of event will be enforced.
Honeysuckle Hill Farm Fall Festival

- Gentry’s Farm will be offering a modified activity area for the fall. Stay tuned for more details.
- Walden Pumpkin Farm will have limited experiences this year. Pumpkins, mums and fall produce will be for sale. The Country Store will be open with decorations, carving kits, jams and the Sweet Shop will have treats! All activity and play areas will be closed.

- The Hermitage
- After dark this fall, embark on a distinctly spooky voyage at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage as you explore the mansion, grounds and cemetery by lantern light. Along the way, guides present stories of strange encounters such as the ghosts of the Battle of New Orleans and Jackson’s infamous meeting with Tennessee’s Bell Witch. Beware of eerie encounters, possibly even with President Jackson himself. Ghost Tours launch at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. from the breezeway. Tours also include a complimentary tasting from our Natchez Hills Winery tasting room. Please arrive early.

- Downtown Gallatin Main Street
- Gallatin’s Main Street Festival will feature over 200 vendors *FREE*
- The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN, and its division the Downtown Franklin Association (DFA) have partnered with Visit Franklin and City of Franklin to “Paint the Town Orange” this October in celebration of autumn in historic Franklin’s Main Street District.
- Franklin will be aglow all month long with shades of orange everywhere including the Heritage Foundation’s iconic “pumpkin tree,” family-friendly fall photo backdrops and seasonal activations throughout downtown Franklin.
- Every week will include fun activities, online costume contests and special merchant promotions. Various downtown merchants will host pumpkin carvers, special window decorations, Halloween themed events and more. Find the details here
- Deer Run Retreat is the perfect spot for family fun this fall with hayrides, campfires, outdoor movies on the weekends, play areas, seasonal treats in their Creekside Eatery and lots more!
