- Art Making in the Lobby– Hang out at The Frist Center and make some art in response to their exhibit. Right now, visitors are encouraged to make miniature furniture inspired by the Houghton Hall exhibit. They provide all the supplies! Starts at 6. (free)
Saturday, February 14:
- Happy Valentine’s Day!
- Family Saturday– Teens can bring their families to the Teen Center at the Main Library and play games. Starts at 9:00. (free)
- Valentine’s Day Animal Enrichment– Stop by the Nashville Zoo and see the animals enjoying their valentine treats. Opens at 9. (zoo admission required)
- Junior Chef– Williams-Sonoma hosts a class for ages 9-13 to learn how to make asian dumplings. Call the store to register. (free)
- Olde World Theatre presents “Chicken Little”– The Belcourt will host this fun performance about a chicken who thinks the sky is falling. Appropriate for all ages. Starts at 10:00 ($8)
- Valentine’s Day Pop Up– Eat, drink, and shop local this Valentine’s Day. Many local, independent shops will be set up at Marathon Village for the day. Starts at 10.
- Saturday Storytime at Parnassus Books- Stop by for a story and a song! Starts at 10:30. (free)

- Songwriting 101: Love Songs– In this group songwriting class at Country Music HOF, you will learn all about songwriting from a professional. Then, breakout and write an ode to something you love. Ages 7 and up. Starts at 12. (museum admission required)
- Wild Animal Meet and Greet– Walden’s Puddle will be at Shelby Bottoms with a surprise guest. You’ll learn all about the animal and be able to see it up close. Stop by between 12-1. (free)
- Nashville Ballet presents: Peter & the Wolf– The show will feature live music by the Nashville Symphony, pop-up style sets, and live narration. There will also be activities following the show. This is a great ‘starter’ show for kids as it is only 30 minutes long. Starts at 12:30 & 2. ($16- $23)
- Love Birds “Picking Party”– Show Shelby Bottoms Nature Center how much you love them by donating a bag of bird seed. Enjoy some hot cocoa and bring your own instrument, or just listen along. Starts at 2. (free)
- Date Night Dome Club– Adventure Science Center will have their Sudekum Planetarium show tonight. Bring your date along for a special Valentine’s Date. Starts at 6.
Sunday, February 15:
- Design an Album Cover– Drop by the Country Music HOF between 12-2 and work on making you own album cover . Get inspiration from the museum’s exhibits. They’ll provide the supplies. (museum admission required)
- Artful Tales– The Frist hosts this family program for ages 3 and up. Enjoy the story of “The Emperer’s New Clothes”. Then, head upstairs to create some artwork that relates to the story. Starts at 2. (free)
