Zoolumination: Chinese Festival of Lights

- See the Zoo in a whole new light with the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival. Over 500 custom-made silk lanterns will be spread across 60 acres with elaborate displays along with some of your favorite Zoo animals, holiday-themed scenes and more!

- Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (545 Beech Creek Rd. Brentwood
- Start the new year in the outdoors with a family-friendly hike followed by hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. $10 per hiker

- Warm up inside the nature center with hot chocolate, fun activities and bring an instrument to play or listen!

- The Parthenon
- This FREE weekly program combines storytelling, educational activities, arts and crafts, musicians and more! Come explore the greek word for friendship, “philla”, through a story about the words of Martin Luther King Jr., then create a gift for a friend inspired by the story and art at the Parthenon.

- Country Music Hall of Fame
- Families can participate in making their own book in the Taylor Swift Education Center. This program is included with admission and free to museum members. * Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free museum admission as part of Community Counts: Museum Admission Program for Locals.
