Nashville is a little slow this week. Probably since everyone is gearing up for their big New Year’s celebrations. Not you, momma. You know that your night will consist of watching reruns until you pass out (most likely before the ball ever drops). So, what are you going to do with the kids all week?

12 Days of Science at Adventure Science Center
Monday to Wednesday starting at 10 there will be special activities for the kids to enjoy. On Wednesday there will be a special Noon Year Celebration for kids who can’t make it to midnight. There will be crafts to make to help celebrate the countdown to the Noon Year.
Blood Drive at the Nashville Zoo
Monday from 10-2pm the American Red Cross will be set up for blood donations. All those that donate will get a free t-shirt and free admission to the Zoo.
On Monday, bring a donation for Second Harvest Food Bank and receive free admission. Children 18 and under are always free!
Catch one of the many storytimes this week- Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30, 10:30, & 11:30. Don’t forget to check the NPL website for events at all of the local branches. Also, note that the Library will be CLOSED on Thursday.
This Tuesday from 10-12 stop by to ring in the New Year with firework inspired art.
Noon Years Eve at Pottery Barn Kids
Bring a shoebox for your child to decorate and keep as a special memory box for 2015. Countdown to noon and celebrate with special noisemakers and giveaways. Starts at 11:30.
