My son, Ezra, is 3 this Thanksgiving.
I feel like this is the first year he really “gets” the holidays. Thanksgiving has always been special to me. I love that it’s all about a feeling of gratitude. I love that it’s a day just for eating, celebrating, and being with the people you love. I love how low-key it is.
My great fear is that Thanksgiving will be glossed over in the glow of Christmas, especially while I have small children. But I’m on a mission to help my family hold this holiday sacred. This year, I’ve created a Thanksgiving Week Bucket List. This list includes EVERYTHING I love about this special day so we can fully take advantage of this week before the excitement of Christmas sets in.
Go ahead and Pin this to your “Thanksgiving” board on Pinterest and start checking things off of your list!
