We love to support great charities and if we can do that and have a great time simultaneously, we’re totally in! I recently learned of the The Triple Sip event that takes place to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville and was so excited to have the opportunity to support a great charity while have a great time myself.
The Triple Sip event is a wine, spirits, and beer tasting event that is held at the Nashville Farmers Market on April 1 from 6pm to 9pm. The drink selections are chosen by Ed Fryer who just opened the new Village Spirits and Wine in Hillsboro Village. There’s also set to be some great musical entertainment by Denny Jiosa. Don’t forget about the unique silent auction feature trips, collectibles, event tickets, dinners, and more.
Being the foodie that I am, I’m very excited about the different restaurants that will be providing hors d’oeuvres for the event. The list is growing daily, but the current participants are:
• The Loving Pie Company
•Gigi’s Cupcakes
•Pork Belly Cafe
•Music City Bar and Grill
•Sam’s Grill/Sam’s Place
•Mimi’s Girl Artisan Bakery
•Tempered Cafe & Chocolate
The programs provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville include the 32-bedroom Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room located in Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. I always hope that these kinds of things will no longer be necessary one day. That one day, all of our babies will just be healthy all of the time. But we know that isn’t the reality and these programs are a great resource for the families that need them. Events like The Triple Sip help to keep these programs going- “keeping families close” by providing essential resources and are a “home away from home” for families of critically ill children in Nashville-area hospitals.
I’m so excited to be able to attend The Triple Sip event this year and also to be able to giveaway a pair of tickets to one of our followers! To enter, head over to our instagram!
If you want to purchase tickets, you can do so here. I can’t wait to see you on April 1!
