Friday, October 31:
- The Gathering Show– A vendor show featuring old and new- antiques, handmade items, seasonal items, and more. You can shop at the Fairgrounds 9:00-2:00. (admission is $5, children under 12 are free)
- Story time at Brilliant Sky Nashville– There will be TWO fun story times today. Wear your costume and join in on some Halloween fun. Starts at 10:30 and 3:30. (free)
- Wishing Chair’s Variety Show– This is a fun puppet show at the Main Library with Professor, Library Pete, and Mary Mary. There are two showtimes- 10:30 & 11:30. (free)
- All American 400– This will be a fun night for the kids (and adults!). Not only will there be some car racing, they will also have a bouncy house, trunk or treat on the racetrack, and a chance to meet the drivers! Gates open at 3:00. ($8.00 for grandstand general admission, children 5 and under free)
Saturday, November 1:

- Avalon Market Day– Lipscomb Academy will host a market day featuring local vendors, food trucks, a silent auction, live entertainment, and door prizes. Shopping starts at 9:30. (I think this is free, I can’t find anything to the contrary)
- The Sweet Side of Science– Adventure Science Center will host a day all about the science behind those sugary sweets. There will be special activities and chances to meet local sweet makers. Starts at 10:00. (included with general admission)
- All American 400– Come out and enjoy the races! Gates open at 10:30. ($8.00 for grandstand general admission, children 5 and under free)

- El Dia de los Muertos Fall Festival– A day full of fun at Cheekwood! There will be fun events throughout the day. Starts at 11:00. (regular gate fees apply, children under 17 are free)
- The Great Pumpkin Smash– Bring your own pumpkin and enjoy a day of pumpkin smashing at Lucky Ladd. There will be a sky drop, bowling, pounding, and more. Starts at noon. (admission is $7.50 per person when you bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee)
- Square Dance Roundup– An interactive workshop at Country Music Hall of Fame. Ages 5 and up will learn some simple steps. Starts at 12:30. (included with general admission)
- Zzzoofari Slumber– Ever wanted to spend the night at the Zoo? Now is your chance! Kids (age 4-12) and their parent can enjoy fun activities like hayrides, bonfires, and inflatables before going to sleep under the stars at the Zoo. Starts at 4:00. (must preregister)
- Pajama Jam– Pottery Barn Kids will have a night of fun before bedtime. Wear your jammies! Starts at 5:00. (free)
- Star Party Astronomy Night– Shelby Bottoms will have telescopes set up to see the stars. There will also be astronomers there to answer your questions. Starts at 7:00. (free)
Sunday, November 2:
- Make Letterpress Art– Learn all about letterpress art and make your own at Hatch Show Print. Starts at noon, 1:00, & 2:00. (free)
