Friday, July 18:
- Watermelon Festival at Lucky Ladd Farms- Enjoy free watermelon and cool off in the splash zone. There will be watermelon crawls and seed spitting contests, too! Starts at 10.
- Art Making in the Lobby– Visitors can create their own artwork in response to the Frist’s exhibitions. They provide the supplies for free. Starts at 6.
- Insects of the Night at Warner Parks- Dress up as your favorite 6-legged critter and learn about insects through games, activities, night hikes and more! Call to register.
- Tales at Twilight– Come down to Cumberland park at 7. The Puppet Truck will perform Hansel and Gretel.
- Lawn chair Theatre– Starting at 8, bring the family to Leiper’s Fork to enjoy The Lone Ranger. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers. They will have concessions available.
- Nashville Shores has a “Dive In Movie” tonight. Enjoy Despicable Me 2 starting at 8:30.
Saturday, July 19:
- SCOUT will be having their monthly pop-up shot at Fear No Art in 12South. Stop by to check out the adorable baby and toddler goodies. And grab a sandwich at Sloco while you’re at it. Starts at 9.

- Kids’ Movie at the Belcourt- This week it’s Saturday morning cartoons. Starts at 10.
- Song and Storytime at Country Music HOF- Ages 3-5 can listen to stories and participate in hands on activities. Starts at 10:30.
- Little Labs at Adventure Science Center- Ages 3-5 can examine and learn about animals that live in the water. There will even be experiments with water. Starts at 11.
- Kids’ Canvas Print with Hip Hues- Kids can learn about screen printing and create a two-color canvas print. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Call to register.
- Guitar 101– Ages 7+ can head to Country Music HOF to learn a few chords and enjoy a sing-a-long.
Sunday, July 20:
