Weekend Happenings: June 27- 29

Friday, June 27:

  • Zoovie Night at the Nashville Zoo- Epic starts at sunset, but come early for some fun activities. Bring your blanket to sit on!
  • Art Making in the Lobby– Visitors can create their own artwork in response to the Frist’s exhibitions. They provide the supplies for free. Starts at 6.
  • Red Caboose Park Concert in Bellevue- Every Friday night in June enjoy a free, family-friendly concert in the park. Bring your picnic baskets and a blanket. Starts at 7.
  •  Lawn chair Theatre– Starting at 8, bring the family to Leiper’s Fork to enjoy Turbo. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers. They will have concessions available.
  • Sounds baseball game at 7:05.

Saturday, June 28:

  • Kids’ Movie at the Belcourt- This week it’s The Great Muppet Caper. Starts at 10.
  • Musicians Corner– Enjoy free live music at Centennial Park. There will be fun activities for the kids in Kidsville. Pre-show starts at 12, music starts at 1:30.
  • Guitar 101- Ages 7-18 can head to Country Music HOF to learn a few chords and enjoy a sing-a-long.
  • Sounds baseball game at 6:35.

Sunday, June 29:

  • Vintage Baseball at Bicentennial Mall- Enjoy an old time baseball game. Stars at 12.
  • Sounds baseball game at 6:35.
