- Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
- Come down to downtown Nashville for a free unique hike that features not only the history of the people of Tennessee, but also the plants and animals found in this particular urban environment. Participants will meet park rangers in front of the visitor center, then venture out into the park and surrounding areas. As June 6 is the 76th Anniversary of D-Day, special attention will be paid to honor Tennesseans who served in World War II. Feel free to bring binoculars and field guides. Be sure to dress for the weather and bring plenty of water; difficulty ranges from easy to difficult (for example, climbing Capitol Hill). This hike is limited to 9 attendees so that proper social distancing protocols can be practiced. Attendees can choose either of these following times: 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, or 3:00 pm. Please use the link attached to register for the hikes; participants also have the option of including a donation to the park in the registration. All donations
