Friday, May 9:
- Buzz About Bees- Learn about bees at Warner Nature Center. For ages 6-12. Starts at 10am. Registration required.
- National Public Garden Day- There will be live jazz in the herb garden and guided tours all day. Go here to find out how to get free admission.
- MAQ Attack– Visit the open studio to transform yourself into an anime avatar, and join teen artists from the ARTlab: Identity Project video art-making workshop for a reception and screening of their work at the Frist. For high school students.
- Parent’s Night Out- Ages 3 – 12 can play on inflatables at BounceU while Mom and Dad enjoy a night out to themselves.
- Telescope Night– The telescope will be open for everyone to use at the Dyer Observatory. Reservations are required.
Saturday, May 10:
- Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival- There will be all sorts of events taking place throughout the day. Take a look at the schedule for more info.
- Steeplechase!
- Three Little Pigs at The Belcourt– The show starts at 10am. You can purchase advance tickets online.
- Lyle the Crocodile at Nashville Children’s Theatre. Check here for times and more info.
- Intro to Jamming at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Ages 13 and up can learn about bluegrass music.
- Investigating Insects- Begininng at 9:30am all ages can explore and learn about insects at Warner Nature Park. No registration required.
- The Princess and the Pea- a play for all ages at the Franklin Theatre. Check here for times.
- Musicians Corner– Enjoy free live music at Centennial Park. There will be fun activities for kids, too.
Sunday, May 11:
