Friday, September 12:
- Slugs, Snails, and Other Small Wonders– Explore Warner Park’s smaller creatures. Ages 3-5. Starts at 10 and 1.
- Zoovie Nights– Pack your blanket and head down to the Zoo and enjoy inflatables, carousel access, face painting, and a movie. Tonight’s movie is Monsters, Inc. Fun starts at 6. Movies starts at sunset.
- Tennessee State Fair– It’s the last weekend to enjoy the fair. Open from 5-10.
- Telescope Night at Dyer Observatory- The telescopes will be available for you to look through and astronomers will be on hand to talk with. Reservations are required.
Saturday, September 13:
- Made In Nashville- Pack up the family and head over to Centennial Park for an event celebrating all things local. There will be food trucks, local vendors, live music, and craft beer. Starts at 11.
- Musicians Corner– Enjoy free live music, a beer garden, food trucks, an Artisan Market, and Dogville at Centennial Park. There will be fun activities for the kids in Kidsville. Pre-show starts at 12, music starts at 1:30.
- Tennessee State Fair– It’s the last weekend to enjoy the fair. Open from 10am-10:30pm.
- Share Our Strength Cookie Decorating– All ages are welcome to stop by Williams Sonoma in Green Hills and decorate cookies ($5 donation) to help end world hunger. Starts at 10am. Call to reserve your spot.
- Musical Petting Zoo– If you’re already heading down to Made In Nashville, make sure to let the kids enjoy the petting zoo hosted by Country Music HOF. Starts at 11.
- Songwriting 101– Ages 7-14 can work with professional songwriters to learn some fundamentals of songwriting at Country Music HOF. Starts at 1.
- Free Day at Adventure Science Center– Regions hosts a free day for the first 1,000 kids under 18 so they can enjoy the Mini Maker Faire.
- Volksfest– It may sound like an adults only party, but there will be plenty of fun for the kids, too. There will be bounce houses, slides, face painting, and games. Starts at 11am at the Nashville Farmer’s Market.
Sunday, September 14:
- Tennessee State Fair– It’s the last day to enjoy the fair. Open from 12-10pm.
