Most kids love costumes and want to get as much wear out of them as possible. Sometimes, just walking the neighborhood on Halloween doesn’t cut it. We’ve rounded up some great spots and events to check out if you want to get a few extra wears (and photos!) in those adorable costumes!
Boo at the Zoo– Nashville Zoo
October 23-25, 29, & 30; 5-9pm
Trick or treating, games, wagon rides, enchanted village, and so much more!
Pumpkinfest– Downtown Franklin
October 24; 10am-6pm
Kids’ zone, costume contests, live entertainment, great vendors, amazing food, and more! This is truly fun for the whole family- costume or not.
Kidgits Boo Bash– Opry Mills Mall
October 24; Noon-3pm
Wear your costume and get candy. Also enjoy games and other activities.
Halloween at The Avenue
October 24; 11am-1pm
Wear your costume and visit the treat stops. There will also be a costume parade.
Community Trick or Treat– Belle Meade Plantation
October 25; 1-3pm
Free trick or treating around the property. Costume contest at 2:30.
Halloween Bash with Mommy Fit Camp– Ellington Agricultural
October 26; 9:15-11:30am
Enjoy a work out and then have a party! There will be a prepped meal guide from Wildtree and kiddos will get to experience some fun with Gymboree. Also, a treat and photobooth!
Pottery Barn Kids Book Club– PBKids, Green Hills Mall
October 27; 11am
Stop in for storytime and wear your costume.
Halloween Storytime– Downtown Library
October 27 & 28; 9:30, 10:30, 11:30
Wear your costume to storytime! (Most libraries will be hosting a Halloween storytime. Check for details at your local branch)
Halloween Harvest Market– 12 South Farmers Market (Sevier Park)
October 27; 3-6pm
Stop by the final market of the season for a costume parade, non-candy trick or treating, face painting, kids’ music, free crafts, and games.
Pumpkins & Spice Party– Gymboree Play & Music
October 28; 2-6pm- October 29; 4:30-6pm
Wear your Halloween costumes for pumpkin and play activities, spooktacular storytime, spice painting and seasonal crafts, bone-jiggling boogies and even a costume parade!
Great Pumpkin Festival– Discovery Center
October 29; 4-7pm
Celebrate Halloween with your favorite super heroes. Iron Man’s lab will be set up as well as face painting, firetruck and ambulance set up outside, super hero obstacle course, and a costume contest.
Boo! Baby– Baby+Co
October 30; 5:30-7:30pm
Baby+Co and friends will host a fun Halloween bash complete with costume contests (and great prizes!), a photobooth, crafting, Mr Steve performance, and plenty of trick or treating.
Halloween Party– Shelby Bottoms Nature Center
October 31; 10am-3pm
Stop in for some Halloween fun!
Spooky Science Day– Adventure Science Center

Wear your costumes and experiment with some spooky science like bugs and skulls!
