I’m happiest in a fun sweater<\/a> with a pile of books to read! Between being sick and snow days, I had more time to read than usual! This month, I read some of my favorite books in a while! I would highly recommend all three of these books. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Without a Hitch<\/a><\/em> is written by my friend and Nashville gal, Mary Huddlestone and Asher Paul. Without a Hitch <\/em>was the perfect book to start off the new year! It was fun, light, full of laughs and some romance! Main character, Lottie Jones finds herself in some very interesting situations as she navigates planning over the top weddings in Dallas and overcoming her own wedding that never happened! The ending has me ready for the sequel to find out what happens next!! If you need a fun read, definitely add this one <\/a>to your list!

\u201cNever underestimate the big importance of small things\u201d. The Midnight Library<\/a> <\/em>was a book unlike others I\u2019d read before but it gave me all the feels<\/strong>! This book reminded me a little of \u201cIt\u2019s A Wonderful Life\u201d<\/em> and another favorite movie \u201cAbout Time\u201d<\/em>. While this book at times is dark and hard to read, it\u2019s also filled with many truths and will have you rooting for the main character, Nora! I read this one in 3 days and have a feeling it will be a book that sticks with me! Someone also mentioned that the audio version is incredible. This was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always in December<\/em><\/a>….*sigh*<\/em><\/strong> Well, I started this one in January…not December but with all of the snowy days, it still felt very appropriate and could read at any time of year. This book started off a little slow for me. I’m not sure if it was just my mood but I had a hard time getting into the story at first. However, it definitely picked up and I can.not.<\/em><\/strong> believe the ending!! I am not ok with it either!! <\/em><\/strong>In this story, Josie must face the loss of her parents every year on Christmas. Each year, she puts a letter in the mail to her parents. On the way to the post, she hits a man on her bike and they have a whirlwind romance. The story made me want to join in the settings with a wintry London, New York City and Edinburgh in the mix! The characters were very believable and likable in this book also. I adore Josie’s grandparents and their frequent facetimes. This book is not your usual and predictable story! Another one that I won’t forget! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
