For Maddie Brooke’s first birthday we wanted something bright and fun- and of course glittery. We decided on a floral first birthday theme with some gold accents. We just had to bring a little bit of spring into the winter. :)<\/p>\n

The floral garland around the tent was my main inspiration for the entire party. We’ve had this tent for awhile and I just imagined MB sitting in it with her frilly dress and the flowers all around. Amaranthus Paper & Flora<\/a> helped us out with the flower garland and it was better than I imagined!<\/p>\n

We didn’t have too many organized activities for the kids. Many of the kids were older, so they just played in the playroom. We did set up a ball bit area for the little kids to play with. That actually may have been the biggest hit at the party. My favorite part was the photo book guests could take a picture and sign. It’s such a great keepsake for us to have for many, many years.<\/p>\n
