The Society of Women Engineers is bringing their conference, WE15, to Nashville this October 22-24. If you don\u2019t know much about SWE, they are the world\u2019s largest advocate and catalyst for change for women in engineering and technology.\u00a0 On Saturday, October 24, they will host the Invent It. Build It. program.\u00a0This is an experience designed to encourage girls to choose a career in engineering. \u00a0Registration ends on October 17, so register today<\/a>!<\/p>\n

\"Invent<\/a><\/p>\n

Invent It. Build It. <\/a>has three parts to it: SWE Girls Program, Parent Educator Program, and an EXPO.<\/p>\n

During the SWE Girls program, participants will be able to meet real engineers and learn about what they do, make new friends, gain hands-on engineering experience, and explore the Invent It. Build It. EXPO during exclusive hours where they will learn about clubs, camps, competitions, and more.<\/p>\n

In addition to those amazing things, participants will get an Invent It. Built It. t-shirt, bag, and lots of other goodies. Girls will have lunch with SWE engineers and they could also win raffle prizes! Also, Deysi Melgar<\/a>, co-host of PBS\u2019s Design Squad<\/a> will be the emcee for the event.<\/p>\n
