My first “real” job after college was working at a homeless shelter in Charleston, South Carolina as a grant writer. I shared an office with my boss, a former Miss West Virginia. Niki and I became very close as we worked in a tiny space together day after day. We were pretty much polar opposites on most things but I looked up to her in many ways. She not only taught me about grant writing but also about style, family and fitness. Niki turned 60 during the time we worked together and she never missed a PILA-Tays class {as she would say}. Niki always made Pilates sound so glamorous! For some reason over the years, I’ve never tried Pilates. So, when Club Pilates Belle Meade invited me to try a class, I jumped at the opportunity!

The studio, which opened in September, is conveniently located on Harding Pike in the heart of Belle Meade. There is a free parking garage located under Publix for your convenience. Club Pilates Belle Meade offers a variety of classes for all experience levels. The facility has everything you need-retail merchandise, grip socks for purchase, a water purifying machine and all equipment.
