Friday, August 1:
- Ellingtown– A musical jazz journey with puppets at the Downtown Library. Shows start at 10 and 11:30. (String City has been cancelled this weekend)
- Make a “Survival Bracelet” at Shelby Bottoms- Ages 8 and up. Make sure to register.
- Art Making in the Lobby– Visitors can create their own artwork in response to the Frist’s exhibitions. They provide the supplies for free. Starts at 6.
- Lawn chair Theatre– Starting at 8, bring the family to Leiper’s Fork to enjoy The Sandlot. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers. They will have concessions available.
- Nashville Shores has a “Dive In Movie” tonight. Enjoy Pitch Perfect starting at 8:30.
Saturday, August 2:
- Home Depot Kids’ Workshop- Kids ages 5-12 can make their own pencil holder. Register online.
- Zoku Cooking Class– Ages 5-13 can learn all about making slushies, popsicles, and ice cream at Williams Sonoma in Green Hills. Starts at 10.

- Dog Days of Summer at Adventure Science Center- Bring your pup down to ASC to learn about things dogs love to do. There will be special activities all day. Starts at 10.
- Shelby Bottoms Arts & Crafts Extravaganza– What happens when you have tons of extra crafting supplies? CRAFT TIME! Head down at 10 with your best crafting ideas.
- Parnassus Books’ Story Time- A secret entrance, a cool train table, and a story! Starts at 10:30.
- Musical Petting Zoo– The Country Music HOF is hosting a musical “petting zoo” where kids can test out instruments at the Sideshow Fringe Festival in Richland Park. Starts at 10.
Sunday, August 3:
- Make letterpress art with Hatch Show Print- Ages 5-18 can learn about letterpress art and make their own poster. Starts at 12, 1, and 2.
- Kids’ Yoga– EPIC yoga in Brentwood is hosting a yoga class for ages 6-16. Starts at 3pm
