Abby from Put on Kindness, Crystal from Southern Snippets and I headed to the charming town of Bryson City in the Great Smoky Mountains for a short getaway!

We stayed at Aloft in the Smokies, which was the perfect home away from home. Our loft stylishly comfortable with one bedroom, a loft bedroom, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and quaint sitting area.

The lofts are within walking distance to the charming downtown of Bryson City shops, restaurants and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.

Families looking for a getaway would love these as you have your own privacy and the ability to cook meals, do laundry and other necessities while traveling.

Southern Living Magazine picked The Great Smoky Mountains National Park as one of its number one weekend getaways and suggested Bryson City as the place to stay! Aloft in the Smokies offers comfortable and convenient accommodations.

Once we settled in and freshened up from the day trip from Nashville, we headed to Bistro at Everett for dinner and the most amazing dessert. We dined on she crab soup, locally caught fish and we couldn’t say no to toasted coconut, the most rich chocolate brownies and strawberry cheesecake!

Our second day in this sweet town was full of adventure! We started our day off with bagels, croissants and coffee at Mountain Perks. After we were fueled up, we explored Deep Creek Trail. It was such an easy stroll to find a gorgeous waterfall, shallow water to play in and rocks to climb.

This trail is super kid-friendly and I look forward to taking my family back to try it this fall!
Next up, we headed to my friend, Erin’s boutique, Humanite. Not only does she have the cutest clothes, accessories, shoes and gifts but Humanite is a give back brand.

Humanite Boutique gives 10% of profits to local and global organizations. As if they aren’t generous enough, online shoppers can enjoy $3 shipping! Here are a few of my favorites from the shop!
- Stripe Shift Dress
- Let’s Go Salsa Top (Cute for the 4th)
- Wonderland Tassel Top
- Multi Color Fan Necklace

We worked up a sweet tooth while shopping, so we made one final stop at Soda Pop’s Ice Cream which felt like taking a step back in time.

The three of us adored Bryson City! It’s the cutest town full of outdoor adventures, unique shops like McCalanahans, Bryson City Outdoors and restaurants with lots of family friendly memories to make! And it’s only a short drive from Nashville!
