Barnsley Resort has become our go-to family destination! We’ve made it an end of summer tradition the past few years and we always have the best time! It’s so convenient to Nashville, only a little over 3 hours to drive!
Is there anything better than pizza and pjs? Barnsley Resorted hosted a Pies and Pints night with delicious wood-fired pizzas and beer courtesy of From the Earth Brewing.
Barnsley has so many family-friendly activities including golf, archery, horseback riding, outdoor trails, canoeing, bike riding. There’s something for everyone!
While the boys hit the golf course, LC and I took on the Bullseye Challenge! I can’t believe how into archery she is, can you say competitive?
From archery and air rifles straight to bird house painting! Barnsley hosts a variety of art classes and workshops throughout the year.
During the weekend, Barnsley hosted a pop-up including CrewLaLa and Sea Island Forge. I’ve loved CrewLaLa’s doggie gifts for years so it was fun to finally get to see them! And Seth was so excited to purchase a new oyster knife from Sea Island Forge.
Barnsley Resort also hosted a beautiful Oyster Roast in the Manor House Ruins featuring Sea Island Forge.
A rare occasion that everyone ”dresses up”!
We definitely made the most of one last ”summer weekend” as the kids enjoyed the Barnsley pool!
And we couldn’t make a trip to Barnsley without getting our favorite ricotta pancakes from Woodlands Grill!
If you’re looking for a laid-back family getaway, I always recommend Barnsley! It’s the perfect getaway for the whole family! Read about our past visits here.
