
Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th
- Thursday, July 4th beginning at noon
- Downtown Nashville and Ascend Amphitheater
- Festivities kick off with the Family Fun Zone with inflatables, water slides, games and a DJ. Live music will start at the Fifth and Broadway stage. The official program starts at 5:45 with Brett Eldridge headlining. Other performers include Mac McAnally, Jerry Wilson, Dylan Scott, among others. The Nashville Symphony will perform before the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

- Each year, on the 4th of July, the Franklin Lions Club presents Franklin on the Fourth with live music, craft and food vendors, classic cars on display, and a kid’s parade all leading up to a fireworks display to cap the night.
Fourth of July with Friends of Franklin Parks
- Thursday, July 4th from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin
- This Independence Day celebration will feature music, food and fireworks! The Tractor Supply Co. Arena will be open to the public starting at 5 p.m. for pre-fireworks music by People on the Porch (6 p.m.) and Rubiks Groove (7 p.m.) Sonic will be supplying hotdogs, grilled hamburgers, and corndogs for purchase! Lipman will be selling a variety of beers and wines. Kids activities will be hosted in the Tractor Supply area. Bring blankets and chairs! No outside coolers allowed.
14th Annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival
- Thursday, July 4th beginning from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- East Park, 700 Woodland Street
- This FREE event brings together the local community and visitors to celebrate the uniquely-Nashville dish, Hot Chicken. The Fire Truck Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by Hot Chicken samples to the first 500 people in line. Visitors can enjoy Hot Chicken from Nashville’s best Hot Chicken establishments, cold beer from Yazoo and other delicious edibles from local vendors.
20th Annual Andrews Cadillac Firecracker 5K/10K

- Maryland Farms YMCA, Brentwood
- Start your 4th with a new family tradition at the 20th Annual Firecracker 5K/20K, including a Kids Fun Run 1K!
- Thursday, July 4th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The Hermitage
- Celebrate our nation’s Independence Day at the home of President Jackson. The schedule of activities includes old fashioned games on the lawn, a Raingutter Regatta, Raising the Hickory Pole, Designing a Flag and more! Kona Ice will be behind the mansion with refreshing treats at 1 p.m.
