So Much Christmas

Gaylord Opryland is one of our family’s favorite places year round! However, it is the most magical at Christmas with millions of twinkling lights, family-friendly holiday activities and the perfect place to make memories!

While this year looks differently, there is still plenty of fun to be had! Masks must be worn for everyone age 2 and up in public areas around the resort and social distance protocols are in place.

Here are the not-to-miss activities at Opryland this Christmas!

I Love Christmas Movies, this interactive is a 17,000 multi-sensory experience that feels like you’re on set of your favorite movies like Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express, A Christmas Story and more!

The Ice Show is so mesmerizing to watch as the skaters blend fire and ice, amazing up-in-the-air moves and more!

Of course, we had to give ice skating a try too! Let’s just say, we won’t be heading to the Olympics anytime soon but this was one of the kid’s favorite activities!

We also enjoyed racing down the ice tubing, ice bumper cars, seeing real reindeer and drinking hot cocoa!

And there’s no shortage of holiday happenings inside the resort.

A trip on the Delta River Boat makes you forget you’re in the middle of a resort! It’s even more special during the holidays to see all the beautiful decorations.

These two were so excited to decorate gingerbread houses, see a glimpse of Santa (you can reserve to have a socially distance photo with him), go on Merry Snoopy’s Scavenger Hunt and of course, Build-A-Bear Workshop!
