It’s a big weekend in Nashville! We have the Country Music Marathon going on, so if you live around the course don’t forget to check which streets are closed for the race.
Friday, April 25:
- Zoovie night at the Zoo- Watch The Croods with your animal friends at the zoo. Check website for more info.
- Lyle the Crocodile at Nashville Children’s Theatre. Check here for times and more info.
Saturday, April 26:
- Last weekend for Cheekwood in Bloom. There are different family friendly events going on all day.
- Butterfly Craft at Green Hills Anthropologie- recommended for ages 5-8. Call to RSVP.
- Lyle the Crocodile at Nashville Children’s Theatre. Check here for times and more info.
- Pitch, Hit & Run– Baseball competitions for boys and girls at Greer Stadium for ages 7-14. Registration starts at 8:30. It’s free!
- Growing in the Garden- Explore the garden at Warner Park Nature Center through a scavenger hunt, books, and crafts, and learn more about growing and maintaining a garden naturally as well. All ages welcome. No registration required.
- Main Street Festival– Not technically in Nashville, but close enough. Franklin’s festival will feature two kids’ areas hundreds of artisans & crafters, three stages and an international food court. Yum!
- Baby Fair– All things infant! There will be over 40 booths. It’s in a new spot this year, Cool Springs Galleria.
Sunday, April 27:
- Kids Rock- In association with the CMM there will be kids races for kindergarten thru 7th grade on Sunday. Register at the Health Expo Thursday or Friday.

- Autism Day at the Zoo- special activities catered to the autism community.
