  • What: The Act Too Players bring the Lion King to life on stay in this beloved tale

School of Nashville Ballet Open House

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 13th at 9 a.m.
  • Where: School of Nashville Ballet, 3630 Redmon Street Nashville
  • What: Meet the faculty, tour the facility, take an inside peek at Nashville Ballet’s Children’s Division and more


  • When: Saturday, Jan. 13th at 11 a.m.
  • Where: The Parthenon
  • What: Hear the Greek myth of a nymph that was the goddess of snow, then make a snowflake collage

Mr. Bond and The Science Guys

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 13th at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Shelby Bottoms Nature Center
  • What: A hands-on, interactive science show. Registration is required

Let Freedom Sing

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 14th at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Schermerhorn Symphony Center
  • What: The Celebration Chorus and Celebration Youth Chorus join the Nashville Symphony for the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

Nashville Boat Show

  • When: Jan. 18-21st
  • Where: Music City Center
  • What: Check out the latest-model boats and accessories along with electronics, jet skis, canoes, kayaks and more! Hands-on fishing clinics for kids in the catch-and-release trout point. Also, there will be a “Create-A-Boat” kids toy boat building area!

Pottery Playdate

  • When: Friday, Feb. 2nd at 10:30 a.m.
  • Where: BrushFire Pottery
  • What: Come meet other Nashville moms and kids for a Valentine playdate. We will have pastries from Brightside Bakery, coffee and a fun full of creativity! The studio fee is $7 and then each participant can choose the pottery they’d like to paint (prices vary) Please rsvp to
