Magnolia Springs has been named one of the prettiest towns in Alabama and I can see why! This town is full of charm around every corner.
A few girlfriends and I snuck away to the Eastern Shore for the weekend. It is always so good to get there. Life is slower, sweeter and the jessamine smells divine.
I took my friends on a tour around to all my favorite places!
We started the weekend with dinner at Sunset Pointe, you just can’t beat these views. The restaurant even stops and gathers everyone to do a toast at sunset.
Even though the weather wasn’t cooperating and gave us chilly and cloudy skies, we headed to Gulf State Park for a little sun and sand! We bundled up with our beach towels, read our books and enjoyed the ocean air!
For dinner, we went to Magnolia Spring’s legendary Jesse’s! We were celebrating Lele’s upcoming 40th birthday and there was no better place! Fried green tomatoes, baked bries with a strawberry glaze, filets, homemade bread with honey butter and fresh caught seafood were a few of our choices. If you’re ever in the area, make a reservation and try it out!
And of course we had to shop along Fairhope’s quaint downtown! I love all of the charming locally owned shops.
A few of my favorites include Page and Palette, Fantasy Island Toys, Gigi & Jay’s, Sway and we found a new splurge worth spot, CK Collection.
Fairhope is our favorite small town! So glad that I got to share it with my friends! You can read more about Fairhope and Magnolia Springs here.
