- Join The Graduate Hotel for a celebration for Dolly’s 76th birthday including pop-ups from Pandy Cotton Candy, The Tilly Goose, The Cookie Cart, and a photo-worthy balloon arch installation by Rock Paper Scissors.The celebrations will continue on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 11:00am to 2:00pm with a family-friendly celebration partnering with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. There will be a live reading of the children’s book Sir Drake the Brave by author Joy Jordan-Lake and a clay craft led by illustrator Susan Eaddy. - Owl’s Hill Nature Center
- Come geocaching at Owl’s Hill! Geocaches are hidden in containers that can be found using a GPS or smartphone. We have new sites set up that are ready to be found. This is also a fantastic way for new geocachers to get acquainted with the game. Hike around in the woods and see what you can find! Bring your own GPS device or use your smartphone to find the caches. Check in before 1 pm. Trails are open for geocaching until 3 pm. The gate closes promptly at 3 pm. Grab your tickets here.
Cool Cars and Drivable Designs

- Country Music Hall of Fame
- Inspired by Florida Georgia Line’s single “Cruise,” design your own car from everyday materials. Explore the vehicles on view in the museum galleries, including Webb Pierce’s 1962 Pontiac Bonneville designed by Nudie “The Rodeo Tailor” Cohn and Elvis Presley’s “Solid Gold” Cadillac, then create your own drivable design to “roll the windows down and cruise.” Presented in support of the exhibition Florida Georgia Line: Mix It Up Strong. Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all are welcome. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Youth from Davidson County and counties that surround Davidson may enter the museum free as part of the Museum’s Community Counts initiative.
