- The Nashville boat show is officially back this year after a hiatus due to COVID in 2020. If you are not familiar with the Nashville Boat Show, it is a four day event that attracts boating enthusiasts and newcomers where they can browse, board, and purchase boats, marine accessories, and discover the joy of boating with a variety of indoor activities for all. Some of this year’s show features include Twiggy, the Waterskiing Squirrel, a Paddle Sports Demo Pool, the Wake Zone where event-goers can hang out with professional wakeboarders, a Four Roses Bourbon lounge where attendees can enjoy cocktails or a tasting, and so much more!
Twelfth Night at Travellers Rest
- Saturday, January 7th from 4 to 8 p.m.
- Historic Travellers Rest
- Take a guided tour of the home, learning about the holiday traditions of the early 19th century. The home will be decorated as it would be have been in the early 1800s, and you’ll get to listen to live music on the 1821 pianoforte in the ladies parlor during the tour. Afterwards join other guests in the barn for music from The Traveling Caudells, parlor games, and refreshments. Purchase tickets here.

- Enjoy a winter hike followed by hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Hikes last approximately 30-45 minutes, which two difficulty levels to choose from. Cost is $10.50 per hiker. Children 2 and under are free.

Cheekwood Winter Concert Series

- The 12-piece Nashville Jazz Orchestra’s Big Band will ward off any impending winter blues in the first installment of the Cheekwood Winter Concert Series on January 28 at 7:00 PM. Swinging with saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a robust rhythm section, the group channels the big band heyday that defined the 1910s through the 1940s.

Guests will be eligible to get their passport validated for both dine-in and takeout orders. Third party deliveries are not eligible for validation.
